The
European Organ Collection. Registrations for Tyros
The European Organ Sound - as
it has become known - was born out of an attempt to recreate
'live' the sound captured in the studio by the legendary
Hammond organist, Klaus Wunderlich. In the process, Wersi
(the company behind these experiments) discovered a
different, but equally attractive tonal quality which was
soon being copied throughout the organ world.
Yamaha artist Richard Bower is
no stranger to this sound - having come to Yamaha from Wersi
- and he has called on his expertise in this area to combine
some very authentic European organ sounds with the
unparalleled instrumental voicing of the Yamaha
Tyros.
